Grants

The Nature’s Bounty Co.’s commitment to giving back includes the endowment of financial support to nonprofit organizations that meet select criteria through The Nature’s Bounty Foundation Grants Program.

Grants are awarded on an ongoing basis. Organizations seeking support must complete the Grant Application. The Grant Guidelines and Grant Application linked below provide more information on the process. A follow up site visit and additional information may be requested before a grant is awarded.

Guidelines

Your organization must meet the following criteria in order to qualify for The Nature’s Bounty Foundation funding.

  • Non-profit organization that meets local statutory requirements
  • In the U.S., you must have tax exemption under IRS Code Section 501(c)(3), or be a publicly funded academic institution. All nonprofit 501(c)(3) charities will be validated via www.guidestar.org
  • If you are an international applicant, please contact the CSR department at (631) 200-6605
  • Educational Institutions
  • Request must be for direct programs and services
  • Must seek support within our giving areas (Health and Wellness)

The following items are ineligible for The Nature’s Bounty Foundation funding:

  • Individuals, political, labor, religious, fraternal organizations or sports groups
  • Requests from organizations that are not tax-exempt
  • Fundraising events, such as telethons, journal advertisements, tickets to dinners, or auctions
  • Capital campaigns, operating expenses, construction and renovation projects
  • Chairs, endowments or scholarships sponsored by academic or nonprofit institutions
  • Academic or medical research projects
  • Special events such as conferences, symposia or sports competitions
  • Organizations that advocate, support, or practice activities inconsistent with The Nature’s Bounty Co. non-discrimination policies, whether based on race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age or status as a protected veteran.

The Nature’s Bounty Foundation accepts applications on an ongoing basis, unless otherwise noted.

Review Process

Applications will be reviewed for funding on an ongoing basis by the Executive Committee. If additional information is required as part of the review process, we will notify you.

Notification Process

Funding decisions are announced upon completion of the review process. The Nature’s Bounty Foundation will respond in writing or by telephone to each application.

Declining a Request

Some grant requests fall within our guidelines while others do not. In addition, with a limited budget to fund grants, we must, unfortunately, decline some requests for funding.
